SAISC Women in Steel

As part of recognising and celebrating the industry’s “unsung heroes”, the Southern African Institute of Steel Construction will be hosting its second “Women in Steel” event on 8 August 2019 at the Woodmead Country Club.

“Women in Steel” is an initiative by the SAISC as a mechanism for recognising the vital role that women play in the industry, encouraging them to be proactive about connecting and contributing. The event aims to inspire women at all levels to develop their leadership skills, expand their influence and boost industry growth potential.

Women get to share, learn, challenge and inspire each other to contribute to their workplace and realize career success! The SAISC welcomes input from all individual and company members, and would like to encourage active participation from grass roots to boardroom level.
