Structural Steel Tables (the ‘Blue Book’) is, effectively, an abstract of the Red book, aimed at draughtsmen, quantity surveyors and estimators, people who deal with steel on a commercial basis, and others who do not need information on the design of steel structures. Primarily, it contains information on the structural steel products available in South Africa, but it also contains information of value to the draughtsman, especially with respect to connections.
